Let's Reduce Property Taxes! --- WAIT, is that good for Wyoming?

The January Lunch-n-Learn topic is Property Taxes.  There are 2 proposals to reduce property taxes, a "citizen's initiative" and a "constitutional amendment".  You'll hear presentations from both groups on January 25th so YOU can decide which one to support and have the knowledge to advise your customers and clients.  You'll also hear from County Commissioner, Gunnar Malm, on how reductions in property taxes could affect local (city/state) budgets and services that your tax dollars provides.

A New Year, a New Calendar of Events!

Did you know you can access CBR's Calendar of Events?  But, to see all the Member-Only events, be sure to log into the Info Hub!  If you need help logging into the Info Hub, be sure to contact the CBR office!

Highlights for 2024 include:

• 2 - eight hour "dues-based requireds" education classes -- March 11th with Steve Willoughby and August 1st with Sara Johnson -- registration will open 45 days before the class date. (Remember, you need a total of 24 hours of requireds education -- CBR is providing 16 hours as "dues based" for the first 75 to register)
• Virtual Economic Summit with NAR Economist, Lawrence Yun - February 15th.
• Housing Study Luncheon -- what does all this data mean?  February 21st.
• Membership Bowling Event - March 15th
• Accredited Buyers Representative Education Class - May 16 & 17
