The Public Relations Committee is needing volunteers to help with the Food Drive!
Volunteers are asked to volunteer for a 1-hour shift (or more if they want) at each Albertson's store on May 9th and distribute "wish lists" for non-perishable food and personal hygiene items. Trailers will be at each store to collect the donated items at the end of each shift.
The trailers will be taken to the Kiwanis Community House at the end of the day for the Youth Day of Giving volunteers to sort items for each charitable organization.
This is a "favorite activity" for many of our members -- here's your chance to interact with the public, have fun with your peers, and assist giving back to your community. Click here to sign up for a shift that fits your schedule -- be sure to note which Albertson's store you'll be volunteering at (north or east).

The MLS Board of Directors has been discussing media and images submitted to the MLS, aiming to formulate a policy concerning AI-generated images, photoshopped images, and marketing on photos. They recently modified the MLS Rules & Regulations to enact the following rule.
|
The participant/subscriber acknowledges authorized use of such media as outlined in section 11 of these rules and regulations and shall adhere to these rules when submitting property depictions to the Service (including but not limited to photographs, digital images, plat maps, floor plans, virtual tours, sketches, and drone videos).
If any media is found to be in violation of these rules, the listing participant and subscriber will be given 3 business days to replace it. If the media is not replaced, it will be removed by MLS staff and listing participant and subscriber notified.
- All media must accurately represent only the property for sale.
- Marketing logos / signage of any party involved in the transaction (including but not limited to the listing office, participant, subscriber, or builder) is prohibited on all media submitted. Subdivision signage is permitted.
- A primary image is required within 3 business days.
- If only one image is submitted, it must be of the front exterior of the property.
- Any photoshopped images must be clearly marked with a watermark or disclosed in the public remarks “Photoshopped” or “AI-Generated”
- If an image is of a previously built home of the same floor plan, it must be clearly marked with a watermark or disclosed in the public remarks “previous build”.
- Additional images may be submitted at the discretion of the listing participant/subscriber provided they conform to the rules stated above.
