Description

Attendees will learn about two proposals that are trying to reduce property taxes in Wyoming, and how the proposals could affect local city and county government budgets. 

• Brent Bien and Richard Weber, BCR Voter Initiatives, will present the "People's Initiative to Exempt Property Tax in Wyoming through a Homeowners Property Exemption". 
• Wyoming REALTORS® Lobbyist, Laurie Urbigkit, will present information about creating a 4th Tier Property Tax through a Constitutional Amendment. 
• Laramie County Commissioner, Gunnar Malm, will present information on how property taxes affect local city and county governments.
